Hi and welcome to my blog. This is the inaugural post for Kimbo’s Korner. My name is Kim Coulter and I am a Stampin’ Up demonstrator. I joined Stampin’ Up in 2010. Since then, I have met so many wonderful people and learned a lot of great things.
I’m dedicating my blog to my Dad. Almost since the day I was born, my Dad has calle d me “Kimbo”. As I was growing up, I remember him calling me to the phone (for a boy call) by saying, “Kimbo, phone”. You can imagine the teasing I endured. Nonetheless, I always knew he said it with love in his heart.
My Dad and I worked on projects and crafts together. We did everything from wood burning to woodworking. We even got my Mom involved in painting the wood. It seemed no matter what I wanted to make, my Dad was there to help and encourage me.
I lost my Dad 18 months ago. I miss him every day, but as I do my paper crafts, I smile and think of all the great times we had together. So as I start my journey of blogging and sharing ideas with you, I say, “This one’s for you Daddy”.
